Firstly i wrote a 'summary' of the plot of our trailer before sketching our storyboard.
1- Medium shot of 3 characters (girls) dancing in a club, Close up track of each of the girls faces
2- Screen goes black and a fade of 'Newline Cinema' logo and text appears in the centre of the screen
3- Long shot a girls bedroom with girls either side of bed packing their suitcases - dialogue
4- Extreme zoom in of picture girl is holding in her hand
5- Extreme close up of all 3 girls 'disgusted' look on their faces
6- Text fades in '3 normal girls'
7- Long-shot of School Bus and girls as they appear from the left with their 'ton' of luggage
8- Medium shot of an eye staring in the bus winmirror as the girls load onto the bus
9- Text 'on a school trip'
10- Long shot of scenery - place where they have arrived, people putting up tents in the background
11- Text 'what could go wrong?', fades in with a 'fuzzy' noise
12- Medium shot of girls around fire
13- Loud scream arises, medium shot behind girls are they turn around in shock
14- Medium shot, fitting all girls faces in, of their reaction to the scream - sheer horror in their expressions
15- Text 'EVERYTHING...', fades in, text changes to a different font and colour
16- Quick 'flash' to a a long shot of a silhouette standing in the middle of the dark woods, turning their head towards the camera
17- Quick 'flash' to next scene of a medium shot of girls feet running through the woods
18- Close up as the eye, and half a face appears from behind a tree, watching the girls as they run.
19- Quick 'flash' to next scene of a close up of an arm on the floor of the woods, hand covered in blood clenching the ground, fades out to next scene
20- Medium shot of girls on bus, being comforted by teacher
21- Close up of teachers sly 'smirk' expression as he turns to face the window, holding the girls
22- Tracking in a circular motion of posters with a 'missing sign'
23- Girl alone hears a similar noise\scream back at school, medium shot, camera behind, of girl walking towards the class room slowly
24- medium shot behind girl still, enters room, door slams - extreme close up of door as it slams towards camera
25- Extreme close up of window of door, hand appears on window and drags down the window slowly
26- Text 'name of film' and release date
I then drew images for my storyboard to help further explain the camera angles and shots.
